dynamic design
I’ve always had an interest in the design of all things, probably well before I knew it. I used to collect baseball cards, not for the players, but to pour over the differences in the logos and branding for each team, and how that made every card feel so unique.
Now, I love the challenge and excitement of creating the best on-screen experiences for all kinds of users, from the details that make design systems seamless and cohesive, to providing frictionless flows so people can do what they need to do.
accessibility & allyship
The more I learn about accessibility issues and how things can be better, the more I want to evolve design systems, solve color problems, or collaborate with developers on code. There is so much more to learn from people and do for users, but each update is a win for all. Working toward more accessible experiences for everyone is something I am finding a lot of passion in.
lifelong learning
Whether it’s learning new design techniques, better ways to transplant perennials, or trying a yummy new recipe for family dinner, I’ll jump in. It is a blessing to be able to lean into interests, turn them into hobbies, and share passion projects with others.
